Peter D. Schmitt is chief marketing officer and chief strategy officer for Dialogue Marketing, a provider of award-winning customer relationship management (CRM) services to help companies of all sizes and across a wide range of industries acquire, support and retain customers. In fact, for a second consecutive year, Dialogue Marketing was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the 2011 fastest growing private companies in America, a testament to the company’s expertise and success in the industry.

In his position, Schmitt leads the sales and marketing strategy for the company, and is heavily involved and passionate about customer experience and being an innovative leader.

Prior to his current position, Schmitt was executive director of St. Petersburg, Fla.-based PSCU Financial Services and president of Total Member Care, a PSCU Financial Services solution and nationwide provider of 24/7 call center operations and software solutions to credit unions.

Since founding Total Member Care, Schmitt led a private equity group to acquire Dialogue Marketing in 2001. In 2004, Schmitt launched Shanghai, China-based Techrim ITE, a software development company that offers mobile and Web-based CRM solutions. In 2005, Schmitt developed Donor Dialogue, a division of Dialogue Marketing and provider of services and products that assist blood centers in reaching their operational and recruitment goals. In addition, he also served as an investment banker with Citicorp.

Schmitt holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from John Carroll University. He is also a former Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winner for his achievements.
