Julie Hastrup became the full-time managing partner of Telesto Group in 2006, at the time a small business of only 10 employees with revenues of less than $5 million. In the six years since then, she facilitated a 300x run rate, helped increase sales approximately 150 percent to $12.7 million, and increased staffing levels by 400 percent, to approximately 50 employees.

Ms. Hastrup is currently the chief operating officer, managing partner, and majority owner, making the company a woman-owned business. She is responsible for defining and driving the organization to meet strategic goals through human resources (HR), quality assurance, information technology (IT), finance and accounting, security, marketing, and contracts/legal.

Previously, Ms. Hastrup spent four years at Molnlycke Health Care as the vice president of North America Operations and director of IT establishing an enterprise-wide IT solution for Canada, the U.S., and Mexico that integrated with the Swedish solution. She held various positions with PriceWaterhouseCoopers where she served as a principal with the SAP consulting group, leading multi-million dollar revenue teams to implement SAP at Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Hastrup’s recognized successes include being named a NJBIZ Best Fifty Women in Business in 2012, winning the 2010 NJBiz Business of the Year award for companies under 50 employees and being named one of New Jersey’s Top 100 women-owned businesses by Additionally, in 2011, the company earned its first listing on Inc. Magazine’s annual ranking of the top 5,000 fastest growing private companies in America (#2,154) and was named one of New Jersey’s 50 Fastest Growing Companies by NJBIZ. She also has led her company to industry recognition by becoming a member SAP’s Gold Consulting Partner Program (2010-current) and receiving an “Exceptional” General Services Administration (GSA) Evaluation score (2010, 2011). Ms. Hastrup was inducted to the National Association of Professional Executive Women (2009) for her commitment to excellence and her impressive background in the management consulting industry.
